• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

View attachment 59571View attachment 59572View attachment 59573Today was the day. Lady Guinness Bassale has moved on and taken a huge chunk of my heart with her.

I said I would know when she was ready, I did. I said I wouldn't hesitate, I didn't. I love her too much to have let her suffer.

Guinness is the best. 12 years of me and her. My husband travels, kids are in school and moving away over the years. My second daughter left work and drove up to be with me and Max while we loved her to sleep. My heart breaks for my husband and other 2 girls. None of them are in town (I'll never get over having to text my husband while he was on a flight to Vegas (work related)).

Guinness....go tree those cats and coons. And eat ALL the bacon.

I'll see you again. You're the best girl.
Sweet face, sorry for your loss, it never is easy🙏🏻❤️

I love it when these leftist want so bad for people who have truly seen and been in the middle of authoritarian rule to come out and bask Trump for being the same. Every single time the person being interviewed sets the wannabe socialist interviewers straight. Now it it is not enough to discourage the wannabe American communist media members from trying the next thing to try and bash freedom, but it is sure fun to watch them squirm when their narrative blows upright in front of them..

My guess, based on my proximity to this Ct. town is, there are enough parents that will not be a huge fan of this type of curriculum. The amount of damage done to children that age with this type of forced evil must be extensive. It seems like child abuse to me. I wonder what the psychological effects are? Now will those parents do anything about this? We will see, because there are many liberals in West Hartford that are the type of liberals that do not fight the party agenda. The towns surrounding West Hartford's parents have been active in unmasking kids at school and also fighting vaccine mandates. I hope our neighbors in West Hartford start to take a more proactive approach given what the school system is trying to do to their children.

Right after the shooting, their was a guy who seemed to be the leader of the group Rittenhouse was with who was asked by a reporter about the shooting, to which he said he didn't see what had happened, everything was chaos by that point. He said he talked to cops beforehand - a block away, barricaded at an intersection - who told him he was glad they were protecting the store, but they were ordered not to intervene with the mob.

The blame for the shooting and the deaths lies with the scumbags who got shot, and it also lies with the police. They stood a block away while the situation descended into a riot and did absolutely nothing until several shots had been fired. The guy in the video above is dead on.

Back the blue!

One thing the last 2 years has shown us - in one high profile situation after another - is that most cops will not risk their job to do the right thing.
I have told a couple of friends who are retired State Police, and they agree. I back the blue, or try to, but after them kneeling to the mob and jackbooting business owners and parents, it is getting close to impossible. Those that would do what's right have left or are leaving, leaving bad cops in power Much like the military, they play the game to get ahead

Listening to Drew Hernandez and some other real journalists that were actually in the midst of rioting( And they all say it wasn't a protest, it was a riot), they are disgusted with the media, the police and Government and the trial.

Alex Jones had Drew Hernandez on Info Wars the other day. Its a good watch for anyone invested in this trail. The video was instantly banned.

This sums up the Biden Administration to a tee....
Yesterday, the Taliban held a military parade. But, they did it with the $90 BILLION dollar worth of military weaponry that the Biden Administration left behind!
They literally flaunted our equipment in our faces, and STILL our American citizens are waiting to be rescued. This is the equivalent of a carjacker stealing your ride, and entering it in a car show!
Our country has become a punchline to a bad joke....
LET'S GO BRANDON!

I missed this yesterday. The prosecutor (the fat one) actually said in closing arguments that Rittenhouse should have "taken a beating".

KONOSHA, WI. (THECOUNT) — James Kraus, one of the prosecutors in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, told the jury in a Kenosha, Wisconsin court Monday that the defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse, should have let himself be attacked last August because “everybody takes a beating sometimes.”

Kraus was delivering the rebuttal argument, after fellow prosecutor Thomas Binger gave the first closing argument, and defense attorney Mike Richards responded on behalf of Rittenhouse.

The Pentagon and the President claimed it was ~100. Now we know it's ~15,000.

I back the blue as much as the next guy. But I don't trust them one bit. They have a quota just like every other job. state and county law enforcement is nothing more than a money grab.
