Dear heavens, I'm exhausted.
Had an absolute blast in Oxford. Got to hug and party with my daughter and her sorority sisters AND had the absolute pleasure of watching the aggs go down.. (We shall not talk about Texas and the shit show they've become. Congeats Kansas)
Seriously, if you ever get the chance to experience the Grove and a game at Ol Miss, jump on it. (This was my second time. First time I brought a frigging hurricane, this time freezing temps)
So much fun and truly lovely people.
Max even got a few good natured ' go bucks' (he was wearing his Ohio state cap).
The game experience is another level. The stadium is beautiful and, somehow, kinda intimate. And the DJ. LOVE IT!!! Even my husband who lives and dies by all things Ohio state and the Shoe said this was nothing like anything he'd ever seen. We've been to everything from TX/OU to the Superbowl and lots in between. He can't stop talking about this weekend. Well done, Rebs.
Can't wait to be back down next season. And now we know to set up our own tent for the girls and their friends. Already getting on that. And we plan on bringing a few friends with us to introduce them to the hospitality and fun.
I'm going to bed. Gotta rest up for Morgantown next weekend. On the plus side, looks like ticket prices should be pretty cheap.![]()
Tgsio...enjoy Morgantown. If you want some contacts to a great tailgate, let me know.Dear heavens, I'm exhausted.

I took one for the team and read it. It’s much more of a hit on Puddin than Heels IYAM.I'd like to hear your thoughts on why this Kamala hit-piece went out now
No way they try to move him before the midterms. It wouldn’t save them either chamber. So the WH tries to distance itself from it, which means it came from them. My question is what prompted it? Do you think the Kamala camp is trying to push him out before the midterms?
Nah. Just provided a case or 6.Did You Tend Bar for Your Daughter and Amigas?
We're going with friends whose son (one of my daughter's best friends) is a freshman. Depending on their game plan, I may reach out sometime this week.Tgsio...enjoy Morgantown. If you want some contacts to a great tailgate, let me know.

I'm excited to go. I love driving through the area. So beautiful.

My goodness. Yes you do. I love Oxford. My girl only applied because I pushed her to do so. I just had a sneaking suspicion it would be the place for her.All of this makes me happy. Been doing it since I was a wee lad, through terrible seasons (more than not) and good. We've been so close to relevancy several times, only to have the rug pulled out from under. Perhaps the decades of pain have built a sort if resolve with us Rebels, that "we may not win the game, but we never lose the party". We've always known we've had a beautiful town, beautiful campus, beautiful people, and lots of cool. The Grove is unmatched, and the in game environment/experience has come such a long way. When we win....we soak it the fuck up!!!!
Just two years ago, we were a laughing stock of the country having been reduced to rubble by an unfair witch hunt by the NCAA....and hopes and dreams shattered by a promising head coach whose ego led him to calling massage parlors on his government issued phone while under the NCAA microscope.
Now we're building something amazing, marketing the shit out of the gem we've always had, and have a coach who fits perfectly and has our trajectory going sky high. I've never been prouder.
As a grizzled Reb, tell your daughter to never take it for granted....we could be doing special things by the time she's a senior.
You seem very resourceful, but if you ever need any tips or leads with making your Oxford/Grove experience and setup easier just let me know!
Hotty MF'n Toddy! What a day to be a Rebel!
What is this? (And I'm not talking about a TV sitting on my great grandmother's beautiful piano)I do hope Kiffin starts to take the points when they're available. And for the love of God, these new age spread offenses need to quit going in shotgun formation when on the goal line. Other than that, no complaints. My goodness. Yes you do. I love Oxford. She iis a very happy girl. She loves it.
Max said if they would just get lacrosse, he'd commit today. He loves everything about it...and he's a dedicated everything SEC hater (as he bought all things Oxford /Ol Miss).
BTW...my husband now knows why my credit card melts down every couple of months. Nielsen's does me in every time. And then I hit the other shops, lunch and a little day dirinking.....
Hotty Toddy.
Thank you for welcoming us.
As for the game...I called the safety, the fake (Max argued with me...no way would they fake it. I said 'you don't know Kiffin')He bet me 20. I'm $20 richer (that I'll give him for whatever) and Snoop's td.
Seriously. Had. A. Blast.
I have no voice. None. I had to text my family because I can't talk.I do hope Kiffin starts to take the points when they're available. And for the love of God, these new age spread offenses need to quit going in shotgun formation when on the goal line. Other than that, no complaints.
Stadium was electric. My voice is still gone, and my body hurts from all the bourbon I pounded. Defense was killer, which is surprising considering we're known for offense. The pick 6 to seal it....place was bouncing!
Our "intimate" stadium, as you implied (its a dump really with some brick on the outside), already has plans for the west side getting completely torn down & rebuilt in a couple years. I dont think more capacity is what we need for now, as ~ 60k seems to be right....but I think we're going for better concourses, chairbacks the whole thing, and building more vertically with some engineering to trap in sound. Gonna look pretty goofy for a while, but we're excited.
who is this
