Yep, I brought this shit up when it happened. It’s kinda crazy how it came full circle.

They basically bought the software that collects people’s data and uses it for marketing. That’s why the Oath agreement was out on rivals. They are just a data set for being targeted with specific advertisements (not just in rivals, but everywhere, because they automatically agree to have their data sold).

The Oath agreement is called “persistent” meaning if you disenroll from having your data collected you will be reenrolled in a short timeframe.
