This isn’t just about filling your tank. Among others, petroleum impacts everything plastic (price and shortages of material). Some factories have to shut down due to resin shortages. Not to mention the fuel cost of transporting anything anywhere.

Right now commodity prices are good to us based on input prices from last year. But going into next season we’re being told that fertilizer & chemical prices will be double to triple the cost not to mention fuel & labor costs. If you can even find labor.
People think food prices are high now, but if something doesn’t give we may see a ton of acreage sit out or be much less production per acre as farmers are forced to cut back & improvise.
