Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I think it's a ploy to get the average Joe to believing maybe elections matter again. They stole 2020 so boldly and awkwardly, even a decent # of dems admit it was rigged.
Some people don't want to admit it, but they've been many steps ahead of us the whole time. Look back to the start of 2020. They launched a freaking virus at the world to get Trump out of the white house. Shut down the country, started a new "right" (the ability to vote from home), and then pulled the most obvious election cheat in history. Always buying enough protection to cover themselves.

You're ignoring the obvious. They've been way ahead of us at every turn. They knew last night could be a loss. If they'd chosen to do so, they could've had truckloads of votes ready in the middle of the night, had some judge kick out whoever they wanted gone, had shred trucks ready to go. Youngkin's win last night could've been overturned far easier than Trump win in Georgia was.
They're playing us. Sadly, most won't realize - or admit - this until it's too late in November 2022.
They didn't unleash a virus, shut down the country, and execute an obvious election theft just to hold the WH and congress for a couple years, pass new green deal or some such. Their plan for the great reset is now. Manchin and Sinema aren't standing in the way of their plans, if they really were standing against them, they'd have one or both in a scandal (or a coffin) tomorrow. Their plans aren't legislative, their aims aren't electoral victory. They intend to bring down the country, while keeping people like us preoccupied with elections and politics.
