Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Local board elections were won by shitty people where I live. I fully expect homeschooling to go up. I'll be taking a new job in the spring so my kids were going to be moving to greener pastures, anyway. No doubt it stings that my childhood school district is mostly ran by communists now.

I don’t believe this is a concession of that. I think it simply shows how bad the Democratic Party is right now. I do believe if they thought they could have stolen they would have. My guess is they will have all eyes on them in these elections and won’t be able to be as blatant as they were in 2020. Remember everyone was in on the steal against Trump. This serves the Pub party and McConnell well they are going to make sure there are no shenanigans so he can be the majority leader again.
I do wonder what is coming down the pipeline in 2022. It looks like it will be an absolute bloodbath for the communist agenda. Will they try to lock us down again for more Mail in ballots or just not hold elections at all? I doubt they are going to give up everything without a fight
