Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

@EXECFRT, have you or your friend watch the video and take notes. There are a lot of specific things that you should not say if you're trying to get the religious exemption. I haven't gone through the website much yet, but I think they have more content on there to go deeper into specifics.

Unfortunately, there are MANY people in places like VA who think that the Democrat governor did not do enough, and would cheer on even more tyrannical edicts. Australia is their template.
Of course, the vast, vast majority of these people were also not negatively affected by the restrictions and lockdowns. Their paychecks were never at risk. Their livelihoods are not threatened.
Try telling the bartender that his job is not essential when he's trying to figure out how to make his car payment. Tell the small time landlord that the 2-3 rental properties he has that are behind in rent is not a big deal. Those people are pissed about the restrictions, but it's the "public servant" class and associated people mostly perfectly happy with the restrictions and lockdowns because they have been manipulated to an irrational level of fear.
Hoping our Governor Maw Maw stops this bullshit.
