Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

This touched me, my daughter who is in the Army got the jab. She's also in good shape as a 19 year old soldier. Called us two days ago. She was in her dorm eating at her table and woke up on the floor. Never had any issues like this prior, it was late at night so she called my wife (RN) and was advised to go to the ER. She doesn't drink and had an early wake up the next day. Passed all tests with flying colors as well. Strange...

I think it goes beyond resources. It’s lost jobs, a lot revenue that becomes secondary. From hotel rooms booked to tips to servers waiting tables . We have the resources. Katrina proved that. It provided a means to shale which was once thought not to be economic.
Im not completely convinced China is in control, but do believe we have been sold out by elected officials for years.

Taking the jab out of the equation, your dad is 94 years old. I don’t think there is such a thing as a healthy 94 year old. We are not meant to live that long. At some point, a “healthy “ 94 year old breaks down. I’m not saying this is serious or anything like that but a 94 y/o has a 21% chance of dying in the next year And can be expected to live 3.4 more years. but, to your dad‘s advantage he’s active and his brain works.
After an injury it doesn’t take much to decondition a 94 y/o which often leads to a downward spiral so that’s the most important thing to recovery.
There are so many causes of falls/Syncope that it is impossible to know what the cause is Without knowing any past medical history, what kind of syncope work up he’s had done, labs, echo, ecg, meds he is on, was there a loss of consciousnes, etc. Since he had imaging of the c-spine did he get anything of the brain? They probably just did a ct scan. Of note, 1/3 of those greater than 65 report a fall in the last year. 2/3 of those will fall again in the next six months.
Could it be the jab? who knows. it could be something as simple as he was not quite 100% after the jab (old people are stoic as fuck). Someone that age has steel pipes for arteries and a little bit of dehydration and standing up quickly can cause a drop of Blood pressure/perfusion to the brain leading to a collapse. it’s not likely jab=collapse but any side effect can exacerbate an unknown or small medical issue biggly.
a syncope workup is routine for any internal medicine dr. Also, a geriatrician is often a good choice for someone that age As a PCP. Someone that only deals with old people is likely better at it.

since covid is a micro vascular disease brain dysfunction could be attributed to little clots/damage in the cerebral vascular circulation. It doesn’t take much to move from functioning to Biden when you are really old.

The B agree with the L and G. They then plan an inclusive party.
The T are ‘Mad as Hell”. The T community has members in both the L and G. (And B once a year on Halloween.). The T therefore has all the groups included within, (which makes it confused of its sex/community affiliation.) The T feels like they should be the leaders. T wants community to be known at TLGB+. T promises to act like diva’s whether they win or lose.

The pass out after the second jab happened to me, not immediately, a few weeks after. No headaches, pressure or anything else, seem to think it's Vertigo. Still comes and go, just no passouts, and bouts of disorientation, and not the good self inflicted ones. Doctors, can't rule out the shot causing it, can't confirm it
