I think it is cool how American blues, and early rock & roll influenced the british musicians, which then influenced American musicians. I'm sure you know the Rolling Stones named themselves after a Muddy Waters song.





Those guys were enamored with American blues musicians. Good scene in the B.B. King documentary, The Life of Riley, where Keith Richards talks about trying to watch B.B., and to play that vibrato he is known for, and just failing miserably at it.

Nice! Hickory burns well. Besides the few years I spent in South Florida and Atlanta, I have been doing this every year. I think I would miss it at this point if I were to move south again.

The Stones are probably the GOAT IMO, but I may be a bigger Zeppelin fan. My love for those bands and that genre is what turned me onto the blues. So much music was/is influenced by American blues, and I can see why after getting into it.

Cool, my wife is childhood friends with the owners of Chateau Meichtry ( Tallahassee natives), we have been going since the first opened, great people and great wine.
