• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

We're staying with Mountain Oasia Cabin Rentals. Our house is fantastic. Game room downstairs, fire pit outside, over looking the river. I'll keep a lookout for at companies today. We did the wine tour thing on Tuesday...there are 7. Definitely recommend that. Ott had the best view, Buckley just opened (incredible) and Chateau Meichtry had the best wines with a great view as well.
Cool, my wife is childhood friends with the owners of Chateau Meichtry ( Tallahassee natives), we have been going since the first opened, great people and great wine. Great country, rolling hills / mountain surroundings. Bobby is owner and they have a couple of homes on vinyard they rent out. Have fun.

I follow what yall are saying, but feel like I must be missing something obvious here...would you explain to me like I'm 5 why you say the unvaccinated have a smaller percentage of people who previously had covid than the vaccinated group?

I feel like we have been over this, and I am just mixed up now, but to me it would seem that if either group has more people who already had covid, it would be the UNvaccinated group, because many people who already had the virus, don't feel the need to get the shot for it.
My theory is that if the total # of Covid cases is even remotely true, millions of people had covid before the vax came out and didn’t know it. They would have antibodies and not know it. They got the vax that doesn’t protect them, but the antibodies do.

Then there is the large group of people who don’t think they ever got Covid and/or, like me, got the antibody test that came back negative and decided they were doing just fine and don’t want the risks involved with an experimental vax.

If the Delta variant truly is more contagious, a higher percentage of unvaccinated people are getting it not because they are unvaxxed, but because they don’t have antibodies.

My theory is simply that there is a high % of vaccinated with antibodies and that a high % of the unvaccinated likely don’t have antibodies.

But all of this is impossible to prove because all data out there is inherently utter bullshit.

Living in the northeast, this is a huge deal. Fortunately for people like myself that use a wood burning stove for the majority of their heat (I have 7 cord split and seasoned for this winter) , it won't be too bad, but I feel for those that don't and also can not afford to put oil in their tanks. Funny thing about that is most of those people are Brandon voters.

Wanna know why? Because we have been locked down harder than North Koreans, For over a year, I saw leave denied for family weddings, grandmas funerals, some holidays, Its been absolutely awful., on a shore tour mind you, Not a sea tour where I am expected to deploy.. I have been battling depression because I haven't seen my family in over a year. It fucking awful, more restrictions than most people can imagine. We had to sign a page 13 acknowledging its punishable by UCMJ, In addition, here is an excerpt:

Servicemembers are prohibited from visiting, patronizing, or engaging in the following off-installation facilities, services or establishments:
  • Recreational swimming pools,

To the maximum extent practical, service members, government civilians, family members, and contract employees should minimize unnecessary in-person use of the following services and activities. • Use of mass transit (bus, rail, or ferry)

Meanwhile my brother got shore leave in Bahrain (I’m sure everyone is jabbed there right?).

We did a video call while he was at the bar in the resort and he certainly wasn’t wearing a mask.

Me thinks y’all are getting a raw deal and some questions need asked if they are strictly enforcing that for you cuz it certainly isn’t happening that way across the board…

Glad that I’m back in Carolina and not in Indiana...

Does anyone know what happened to the Buckeye dairy guy?
Thought he said he was taking a break but hope he is cool!?
Brandon really is everything they accused trump of being. Between China and Iran there looks to be a good chance of a major international incident happening.

They have no idea. From the very beginning they haven’t known where the virus came from or when it was where. Why would one variant be different?

And the more we talk about restrictions and vax mandates the less we talk about how China created this virus with the financial and scientific support of the US health agencies.
So much this.

I feel for folks that gotta use oil. That’s gonna hurt.

HAHAHA....Sure Jan. Stories like this are just fucking controlled Oppo.
They are good red pill material IMO. I think we would all be hard pressed to find anyone (especially lefties) ok with the idea of 450M dollars being spent on an election by a entity not explicitly designated & regulated for political activity.

Lefties are all for it. Ends justify means. Indies will definitely be opposed. The right opposed. There is nothing too immoral for leftists as long as it gives them power.

I love to talk shit about the lefties but this is typically one of the few topics, in my experience, where you can create some cognitive dissonance.

I like to go with the “so you support Citizens United?” follow up. The melting guaranteed @ that point.

Thanks, I follow you...and it is fucking bullshit how hard it is to know what is true and not. Of course, most of us are realizing this is by design. Maybe it has always been that way, probably so. Infuriating, though. You can't trust any numbers on covid, I suppose. They have lied to us about every aspect of this thing, from day 1.

They got the vax that doesn’t protect them, but the antibodies do.

One problem. If you had antibodies and got the vax your antibodies won’t protect against variants because the vax blocks them and only works on one variant. And that’s according to Geert Vanden Bosshe who is a virologist and world-renowned vaccine expert. These vaccines are going to kill a lot of people because of the above, not to mention vaccine caused complications and deaths

The 2015 Iran Nuclear deal that gives them hundreds of millions a year and provided pallets of cash. Fuckin morons
The fact that Iran came out and said they want all the cash but won’t stop enrichment tells you everything you need to know about how they view the current “leadership”.

And further, those who are offended by it on our side of the scale continue to use facebook. Fact is, they could find out Zuckerburg was using his facebook wealth to finance a massive human trafficking empire, and the first thing most facebook users would do is go post about it on facebook.

Great post man, thanks for sharing your insight

Our military is ran by fucking MORONS.
There are plenty of good ones out there. It’s weird that there is a part of the military that actually gets the job done and delivers for the warfighter (seems like a small cross section though)

And then the rest is there to feed money into the military industrial complex and push the latest agenda of whoever is running the government

Another thing I’ll say about the military: especially when it comes to research and development. They have always been accustomed to relying on academic entities like universities and independent “think tanks” to help make objective decisions for them. MIT Lincoln labs, John Hopkins Applied physics lab, DARPA, etc.

There are a couple problems with this.

1. How government funding works, they are much more interested in securing funding than pushing the technology. It’s about business and getting money and lining the pockets of those in charge. In the think tanks, they will funnel money in certain directions so they will get lucrative contracting jobs when the leave.

2. You see how much social agendas are pushed on academia. Not only are the universities slanted to the left, but the students they are producing, especially on the east and west coast where a lot of the entities are, are slanted left because of their education.

So all the sudden it’s not about helping the war fighter. It’s about business and $$, and pushing agendas (which in the end is about $$)

So in the end OBJECTIVE opinions do not exist. When you have a good, honest engineer trying to really solve a problem, it gets squashed or manipulated up the chain so it feeds the beast

There's a lot of truth in your post, but your last sentence is terribly wrong. We're far from a holy nation. The blood of 60 million dead babies cries otherwise.

God holds nations accountable for what their leaders do. When the SCOTUS rendered Roe vs. Wade, 7 of them should've been hung on the steps of the court. When congress has passed one ungodly piece of legislation after another, we should have risen up. When some judge rules that mentally ill men get to use the bathroom with little girls, he should have to spend the rest of his life in hiding. Instead, in the face of all that and more, we sat on our hands.

Our founders warned us what was necessary to keep our union. Washington warned if we departed from God, we would fall. Madison said our constitution would only work for godly people. Thomas Jefferson told us what was required of us when the government no longer represented the people. We ignored their wisdom, Christians just as much as everyone else. God's people in America were fat and happy and decided they'd rather enjoy God's blessings instead of doing the necessary things to keep our country.
Bro…. LOL… I was quoting Scripture. Read yore Bible more often.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”

1 Peter 2:9

Holy nation of born again Christian brothers and sisters, not nation as in “USA…”. I’m shocked I’m having to explain this.

Nation in that context is a group with the same values, religion, morals, etc. it’s the Christian nation all over the world not a government one.
