Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Your conclusion is exactly the same as mine. Like I've said in other posts ITT, this data that the vaccines reduce severe infection and death is pretty overwhelming at this point. The vaccines do have some issues too, larger than most people realize. Still, the risk calculation favors the vaccine for many people. This is especially true when the calculation involves people with dependents like children and adult children with disabilities.
I agree. Unfortunately there is so much misinformation on BOTH sides, intentionally IMO, that it is hard to tell what is true. I notice these days that headlines rarely are backed up by their articles, too...have to do alot of reading just to know if they are full of shit. We should all be careful not to fall for it, and to avoid group think as best we can.

I was speaking with someone from Ohio, who mentioned many empty shelves at their grocery stores. My wife said she went to Food City the other day, same thing here. Not alarming at first, maybe only 10-15% empty, but many aisles with huge swathes of empty shelves.

Imagine how many truckers, factory workers and grocery store workers are about to be coerced into taking a potentially deadly shot that provides no benefit, or being unemployed by the Biden admin. Even a 15% loss of workers and production, along with the police and fire refusing, will mean chaos. Stock up now before everyone else does.
I hope they also sue the individuals themselves along with the entities. Some may have immunity from suits but likely not everyone who are a part of these mandates. Go after them and make it costly.
