• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I’ve always said 90% of the cheap shit from Asia can be done just the same in Mexico.

Clean up North America and strengthen our allies instead of letting these shithole Asian countries get too big for their britches.
All those central Americans could stay there and make the same crap China makes and it might even be superior because they won't intentionally add chems to kill us or our animals.

Beautiful night for football.

(It only took me 40ish shots to catch the lightning)

Oakwood got rocked. 3 of our linemen were pulled off the bus for 'hazing'. (Max was not involved). If I find out the SI pulled this shit to make 'a statement' my husband is going flat out annihilation (as y'all know, I've been there for years). I knew there was an issue this afternoon and the coach was handling it (the worst alleged offense is a freshman had soap dumped on his head while he was in the shower).

Whomever overstepped and diminished the coach 2 hours before the game is a frigging bitch.

Who do you think these boys fear and respect? Their coach WHO WEARS THEM OUT AND TAKES NO SHIT OR EXCUSES or the whiny ass, puss boy SI?

On a personal pride for my kid note. ..Max had one forced fumble and 2 FR. And not a chance they were kicking or punting to him. (One time they did. Accidentally. Poor kid got his ass handed to him by the coach) Max seriously ran lateral almost to the sideline and flat out reversed back across and jigged and jagged to gain 26 yds. They watch film and a couple of guys are on his club lax team. They know who he is. And to give credit, Bellbrook has one hell of a RB and a good team. . That boy is fast and just flat out good. He's rightfully ranked in the top ten and arguably the best rb in the state. And... he's a nice kid, pre and post game. Asshole, but clean, during the game. As he should be. (He and Max know and like/respect each other)

Max is first in conference and area for defense. Tied for 5th in state.

I still don't get Ohio conference (nevermind public v private)

Oakwood playing Bellbrook is like Shiner playing Allen.

When did she get the shot?
Her first shot was March 12. (The same day as my husband's 2nd shot) they both tested positive March 29.

****The world shut down a year before on her 21st bday. She's a St. Pat's baby. Don't think we didn't celebrate. All who were here (there were more than a few) had enough alcohol to kill anything that thinks it might gain hold****

And at the time, they still told her to get her second shot (if she didn't, she couldn't go back to school. She was a senior and was determined to graduate on time)

When she went for her second shot, the PA ordered her to sit in her car and wait for the doctor. She waited for 2 hours and called me, crying. She was told if she left, security would come and detain her. I told her to come home and that the doctor, campus security, nor Dayton police had any such authority. This is what they've been doing to students, most of whom are far from home. Threatening and terrifying them. It just so happens my girl was at UD, less than a mile from my house. And I could easily get her back to the house.

And when I say she was perfectly healthy, I mean freakishly healthy. She was DI and nationally ranked diver. She has had the best, most intense and attentive medical care.

She can't dive competitively anymore, but she still coaches and dives for fun. I had a minor stroke a couple of weeks ago when I saw video of her diving off a 42 meter cliff in Mexico. We had a talk. And I was proud of my girl after that talk. She knew her body and felt good and able. She wasn't passing that up. She HAD to do it. If I knew how to post the video without linking her entire insta, I would. It was beautiful.

Here's a pic (she was told she was the only girl they had ever had actually dive from that height. Well... she was and is a diver. What's another 9 meters???) She ripped that dive.

Could use some prayers coming towards my household, GoodPeople. Wife had surgery two weeks ago to remove a reoccurring polyp in her uterus, as we're pushing towards trying to have kids while fighting her endometriosis. Oncologist called back and said the tissue biopsy was precancerous. While its good we got to it, and it appears not to have spread....its still a gut punch and makes the push for kids a little more pressurized. Not how I envisioned our weekend to start.
Will be praying for you two. Take care.

To put it as simply as I understand, her upper and lower chambers are not beating in synch as they should. Her lower chamber is beating multiple times while the upper chamber skips. Everybody has this occasionally, but this is extreme. The cardiologist told her that if she was an 86 year old man who had smoked and drank all his life, he wouldn't be worried. As she's 22 and in perfect health otherwise (and until recently) he's, ahem, concerned.

In addition, her heartbeat is very slow. Ordinarily, that wouldn't concern me as she always has (both my dad and I have 'slow' heartbeats) but it's even slower than normal. She has to be careful when standing up so she doesn't pass out.

Her next appointment is in a couple of weeks. He'll determine if he's going to put her on beta blockers to try to regulate her heart or if she needs to go in a different direction.

This has been going on since April.
Did he give you a formal terminology for the abnormal heart rate? Has she had an echo?

Yes, SVT. But still not quite. It's weird. She doesn't often drink (very rarely). No drugs. No change in lifestyle. Ridiculously healthy and athletic.

The only change was the Moderna shot/covid/ second Moderna shot.

She's had 3 echos, an mri, a ct scan, and worn a heart monitor 2× (sandpapering her skin was not her favorite thing). There's no observable structural damage or anomaly.

She never had any issue(well, back and knees from the physical stress) pre shot/covid/shot.

I'll know more in a couple of weeks. POTS is also in the conversation. Her doctor is most focused on getting her heart regulated. And we'll go from there.

It's just that she never had any issues until April. And no matter what the cause, we want her healthy.

Yes. If you analyze the data on a per 10,000 - 100,000 basis (to account for different group sizes) it all shows reduced hospitalization and death compared to the unjabbed.

I don’t think every hospital in the state, Ron, and Trump would all lie to us about the issue but it’s a touchy topic, with a wide range of opinions & expectations, and I’m not looking to get into it with folks.
I’m still waiting on the data about the less severe sickness for the vaccinated. I haven’t seen it.

Also we still testing the test subjects with PCR tests as lower cycles than the control group? Seems like that would matter too.

Didn’t hospitals and the cdc stop tracking vax status in hospitalizations earlier this year?!

As well, Covid being cited as cause for hospitalization or death has been commandeered because of payouts for Covid patients…if so the data is far from accurate on one side or the other.
They stopped tracking cases if you are vaccinated unless it requires hospitalization. As we know, hospitalization rate for covid is, what, less than 5% for the gen pop? That would make you think a high percentage of vaccinated cases aren’t reported as such.

Not sure why we should trust the government statistics now when they’ve been garbage for the last year and a half.

It is almost as if California politicians and gen pop liberals do not understand what a healthy business environment is. Her words alone should bring serious condemnation by her peers. but.... As far as her or anyone thinking that Musk is moving his company for what she typed on social media (that was a mean tweet right? I was told mean tweets are bad, but now it is okay?) you have to be some kind of arrogant or dumb. Musk is worth billions and this chick thinks he is moving his company because she said some idiotic things? LOL, the mind of a liberal....

So I sent an email to Rick Scott and Marco Rubio and my local Rep stemming from one of those chain things you sign up for and it auto sends an email about opposing vax mandates. I reworded some of the auto populated email to make it sound IMO better. Well I just got back the response from the fucking twat Rubio. His auto reply basically trumpets Vaccines as a WONDERFUL thing. Like I said earlier, I hate this piece of shit and vote for his opponent every time. Email response here:

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts regarding vaccinations. Understanding your views helps me to better represent Florida in the United States Senate, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Vaccines have eradicated deadly diseases, saved countless lives, and helped children here at home and abroad to live healthy lives and reach their full potential. While some people do not support them, I believe vaccines play a fundamental role in public health. I have supported funding for vaccine research and development, as well as programs that ensure all American have affordable access to vaccines.

Vaccines play a critical role in public health, particularly as we pursue an end to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through cutting-edge innovation and unprecedented investments by Congress, our nation’s scientists, drug manufacturers, public health officials, and providers raced against the clock to deliver safe and effective coronavirus vaccines. Millions of Americans have already been vaccinated, and millions more will become eligible in the coming months. I will continue to advocate that Florida receive an equitable number of vaccine doses and that our state receive the federal guidance needed to successfully complete its vaccine administration effort. To that end, on January 14, 2021, I led 17 members of the Florida Delegation on a letter to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Operation Warp Speed to request that Florida receive additional vaccines to account for the state’s high number of seasonal residents. While Florida’s allotments continue to increase due to more vaccines receiving emergency approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Biden Administration should take proactive steps to recognize the seasonal population and increase Florida’s allocation.

Additionally, on March 4, 2021, I wrote to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Health and Human Services to request proactive planning to prevent potential weather disruptions to the vaccine administration effort from severe weather events. President Biden has said that there should be enough vaccines for all Americans by the end of May. As Florida prepares for hurricane season, it is critical our vaccine distribution is not interrupted like it was due to the winter storms earlier this year. Should a hurricane or other severe weather event occur during the coming months, it could have grave impacts on Florida’s ability to complete its vaccination schedule in a timely manner.

You may be interested to know that on December 21, 2020, by a vote of 92-6, the Senate passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (H.R. 133). This legislation allocated funding for numerous programs to provide Americans access to life-saving vaccines. Specifically, the bill allocates $30 billion for the federal government to manufacture, purchase, and administer COVID-19 vaccines and related therapeutics. It also supports national education programs to raise awareness about the importance of vaccines to prevent and control the spread of vaccine-preventable illnesses. As a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, I applaud the work of my fellow committee members on their commitment to support immunization programs. This legislation was signed into law by President Trump on December 27, 2020 (P.L. 116-260), and I look forward to our continued efforts on these important issues.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve you as your United States Senator. As a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, I will keep your thoughts in mind as I consider these issues and continue working to ensure America remains a safe and prosperous nation.

Basically the same form letter that I received from NC Senator Thom Tillis...they’re “All in this together...” 😡

I ordered myself a new recliner in May latest delivery date they gave me is now late December maybe.
On the bright side, I don't need or want any but the US has plenty of Fentanyl in stock.

Re: recliner issue

I got a phone call from somebody wanting to come sell me Pella windows for my house. I asked if he had any in stock or would I have to wait a year or so. He said he had plenty in stock. Doesn't make sense when everyone else is months behind in getting them. I have a client who is building a new house and finally got his order in September but had placed the order in November 2020 just before pouring the slab.

Excellent video interview with a fully awake NYU professor of media studies on the propaganda of the last 20 months. Comes across as highly rational throughout. Does touch on alien invasion (aka project blue beam) so that’s wild for a mainstream guy to be discussing it.
