Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I was curious so I googled FSU’s med school board of directors. Clicked on the first guy on the list, president John P Fogarty MD. His bio lists Pfizer and AAFP on a visiting professorship he had in 2005. Pfizer is obviously Pfizer. He has been a fellow with aafp for 37 years. Go through their website and find they have a PAC, FamMedPac. Who does the PAC list as supporters? Pharmaceutical companies and medical testing companies. 2007 he won some awards, 2008 he is hired as dean at FSU med school, now he is the president of the board of directors.
In short, I googled the board for the med school at FSU. Clicked on the first guy and his bio lists Pfizer and an association sponsored by pharmaceutical companies.
Seems like maybe he could be more wrong.

What is amazing is that most Americans dont realize how truly bad things are. They see the inflation and gas prices and the afghan debacle but honestly those are just the tip of the iceberg. There will be over 2 million illegals crossing here by Christmas. You haven't even seen the real inflation hit yet. And wait on those fuel prices in winter. Its fall in most of the country and electric and gas use is lower now than summer and winter.
I thought we'd have $5 gas by 2022 summer but I think we hit it this winter. If this isn't a planned decline then these are the dumbest mother fuckers to ever rub their nose on a ball sack.

Lumping the entirety of medical doctors into a stereotype is just as dangerous as what the left does. Especially when it isn't true.
Many physicians, like me, feel alternative treatments need to be evaluated without bias to determine their true efficacy. If they work, fucking fantastic!
Sure there are sheep doctors that follow things blindly, but most aren't. The ones that push vaccine agendas likely gave a financial incentive to do it. Money and power corrupts plenty of people, it isn't unique to medicine and I sure as shit haven't seen any check...

One look at the wholesale slaughter of Covid patients brings your post into question. The pushing of a poisonous gene therapy as cure while perfectly safe treatments are available but suppressed has me asking if you have been paying attention at all. I don’t believe in masks as a preventive measure and I don’t believe these jabs should even be available for humans. Most of the medical community are at oddd with these views. I was skeptical that OxyContin was abuse proof as well. They flew off the shelves. Too much to list. I’ll be happy when the purge ends. SKOL!

I have mentioned several times that there isn't one analyzer that is running all those tests on one swab. Most places if you come in with vague flu or covid-like symptoms, they are going to swab you once for flu, another time for covid, and if you are young, a third time for RSV. Those 3 swabs are being run seperately. At our hospital, covid is run on one analyzer with one methodology. The flu and RSV are run on a different analyzer with different methodologies. The whole "flu is just being counted as covid" is patently false. Period.
Ok I thought I remembered you saying that about the flu test vs COVID but didn’t want to speak for you.
Any thoughts on if the COVID tests would pop positive for those other things?

No. Im in orthopedics. I've just been to med school and never heard anything remotely close to what you are insinuating.
If anything an indoctrination of 'follow blindly' would be instilled in residency not in med school.
Even then, physicians are the most skeptical people I know. Almost to the point of being rebellious malcontents. There's an old joke about 10 different doctors in a room and getting 10 different opinions...
