• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I could really use your help - a while back I came across a study showing that masks were unsafe. I believe it was a meta-analysis that contained studies from prior to Covid about the health impact of wearing masks. Does anyone know where I could find that? I would really appreciate the help - thank you!

Something is off with the Todd Beamer transcript. First of all, where’s the recording? How do they have a transcript but not a recording? Second, she tells Todd the towers had been destroyed. This doesn’t match the timeline. Only the south tower collapsed before Flight 93 crashed, and according to the timeline below (I know, wikipedia) it shows the passenger revolt already started. That means Todd Beamer’s conversation was already over.

any articles I’ve seen selectively reports on n95 masks which most people do not use, and are in a hospital setting.
If the N0 factor is greater than 1 I laugh at people who think a mask will prevent transmission.
I the use the analogy of a mosquito flying thru a chain link fence and covid with a mask. then state it’s science.

Sorry I can’t help on any specific articles, but do remember one saying early on that a little legionnaires shouldn’t be of concern:)

It's amazing to me that they keep discussing that Social Security 'benefits' (which I've made deposits into for 49 years) are going to run out, but never any mention of lack of funding for welfare, illegal aliens, or other random acts of kindness... :mad: :mad: :mad:
