You can have all the evidence in the world, but if there's no one in an authority position willing to even consider it much less do anything about it. What then? It's just written off as another conspiracy theory drummed up by quacks. Sorry, just thinking about how everything seems to continuously get swept under the rug with no one willing to do a damned thing. From the Clinton emails, to Russia gate, to the Kavanuagh hearings, to the fake impeachments, to the Epstien case, to the stolen elections. Not one single major issue has been resolved.

Having friends who are missionary's is an exercise in trusting God.
They know what they are signing up for when they go in, particularly to highly persecuted (closed) countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc....
While our initial reaction may be to pull them out, that may not be how God choses to use them for his Kingdom. Martyrdom has been very effective in turning people into Believers.
You also didn't grow up in a larger "culture" of shame (aethist/Pagan). You grew up in a Judeo-Christian culture.
That foundational difference is really important. Standards and expectations are very important. Having parents that care is really important. Having a belief set that allows you to endure when you face failure because you have a confident hope is the difference between a kid persevering through adversity and throwing themselves to their death because they lack hope.

This makes a lot of sense, and it goes along with the whole narrative of, "if you control the media, you control the population". It makes sense especially when you consider places like California, where the liberal doctrine is so widely spread that you're almost required to accept it, or be somewhat ostracized. I have several friends out there and they're definitely been infected by that type of thinking.
As he said in the video, that's why it's so important for people (ourselves included) to speak out against the nonsense, no matter what it is. It makes it okay for others who may fall into the "potentially brainwashed" category to break free, or not become fully overtaken by the cultural push.
