The guy who wrote the Obamacare language went on Colbert and bragged that it was set up to crash the free market and usher in single payer. They were laughing about it.
Pretty sure this is the guy. He's defending it now but I remember him laughing on Colberts show bragging it was going to get them to single payer.
Edit... Used Grok to look for it and it's saying it might have been a clip of him saying it but he didn't appear personally on the show.
