• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

We just went through four years of BS indictment after BS indictment. A number of my friends were indicted on obviously frivolous charges as the MSNBC legal hyenas cheered them on.

Now Comey is indicted on the most straightforward crime imaginable - lying under oath to Congress - and they are calling it the greatest abuse in the history of the Department of Justice. But they are doing so without even analyzing the crime, which has the simplest elements imaginable: did Comey lie under oath about whether or not he leaked sensitive information to the press?

He said he didn't. Kash declassified intelligence that says he very much did. Bingo, bango, boom. Comey will have a chance to contest the classified intelligence - but there is OBVIOUSLY a prima facie case here, and there is nothing novel about the charge except for the fact that the defendant is a former FBI director.

And sure, in the first Trump administration, this charge probably wouldn't have gotten indicted. Trump was being nice in the first term. He had Hillary dead to rights on mishandling classified information, and decided that his DOJ should let it go. But the Biden DOJ, Tish James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis and the MSNBC legal harpies threw away prudence, and indicted Trump 4 times in four different jurisdictions in a little over four months, after he was already a declared Presidential candidate.

We aren't idiots. You've discarded prudence. And so now we are going to indict the prosecutable crimes against those who participated in the lawfare against President Trump. And we may not convict them all - juries are juries - but bet that we will convict some.

James Comey will always be the poster child for how a dual system of justice got started in this country. When he stood in front of the cameras and admitted Hillary Clinton had been “extremely careless” with classified information, then turned around and said she shouldn’t be charged, that was the moment the system was exposed. Regular people would have been dragged through the mud and thrown in jail, but the powerful walked away without consequences.

The Russia collusion mess only proved it further. Comey allowed the Steele dossier, a piece of junk paid for by Clinton’s campaign, to be used to spy on Trump’s team. From there, the country got years of taxpayer money wasted, endless investigations, and nothing real to show for it. The whole thing was designed to unseat a duly elected President. If that is not using the justice system as a political weapon, then what is.

Even after Trump fired him, Comey could not help himself. He leaked his own memos to spark the Mueller probe, then cashed in with book tours and TV appearances like he was some kind of hero. The arrogance of it is unbelievable.

His indictment should be the first of many.

If people are allowed to sue gun manufacturers claiming liability when someone unknown uses their products in a careless manner, start suing the app company for their app being used by someone to shoot at people.

Same logic. Could also sue car companies for people using cars to run down people, etc.

I know, I know, federally they have protections but several states have allowed these suits to happen. Just saying, extract a financial toll on those who make products specifically designed to target people. Or, get the courts to rule manufacturers are not liable for misuse of their products.

OMG I can barely post 2 things on X without getting banned from posting again and IT'S NOT EVEN BAD what I'm posting.

I mean this last one... I reposted these two things....

and

BOOM! Banned from posting for another week. Looks like I'm on their list lol.

Ironically this always happens when I get near 1K followers. Below 700 or 500, I can get away with almost anything. I'm almost positive it's related to follower count. They run a tight suppression regime lol.

I get a week ban about every couple of months. Something in the ai can't tell sarcasm and it definitely has a left wing bias still. I literally said about Newsom what someone said about Trump and got banned for it.

I would think that I would have heard something about this in local news if this is indeed happening. You hearing anything at all @Long Cat V2.0 ?
First I’ve heard of it.

I thought the orange industry was destroyed by all the new subdivisions getting built up where the orange groves used to be. You can hardly recognize central Florida from what it was 25 years ago. Way too many people now. I’m leaving the Orlando metro when my kids get out of high school. 8 more years for my youngest.

I remember sitting at my desk listening to Rush covering the comey/clinton email press conference live. I remember thinking “holy shit he’s actually going to have her charged.” And then came the “no reasonable prosecutor would charge bit.” There is zero chance he somehow bribed or offered a quid pro quo.

He’s being charged with process crimes. If there is any justice in this country, guys like comey and Brennan must be brought to justice as the career criminals they are. Same for the POS elected officials that are career criminals. Otherwise, anything we do is just delaying the inevitable downfall of our country. At least in its current form.
