Don't know if it continues today but previously when the DC Fed proposed a new rule they would send the proposal to the 12 branch offices for comment. If one or more of the branches commented negatively to the proposal, the DC Fed ignored the comment and passed the new rule anyway. It was always what DC wanted. Asking the branches to agree was just a formality for CYA.
Once they get that initial premium they could care less. I live in a predominately hispanic area. They buy a vehicle, tag it, buy insurance to make it legal and then cancel. You would think insurance companies would notify officials when the policy is no longer in effect.

Source says Bolton wasn't detained, but he's fully expected to be charged.

Not sure who the carrier is, but if it was Walmart or Amazon, you are right. If its a mom and pop shop that constantly switches between different entities and registration numbers it could be harder. Depending on state, minimum ins limits could be 750k or 1 million with no umbrella or assets if its a sh!tty company.
Going back to Cracker Barrel...the food has gone to shit. You can tell when food is freshly prepared, and when it's basically heat and eat. They were going broke long before they went woke. But woke certainly won't help.
