Piggy backing on your reply as this is a very compelling topic for me right now.

Just helped a friend, 22 year old Marine, move to Charleston this past weekend.

He was just medically discharged from the Marines due to developing myocarditis from the vaccine.
Great guy, also has just (in the last three months) developed Type 1 diabetes.. suspected to be caused also from said vaccine.

One happy outcome from this tragedy is that he is starting The Citadel as a veteran student at the end of the month; 100% paid for by his injury...

This $hit with the vaccine makes me angry enough to spit nails. I don't know that the medical community will ever recover the trust of the American people that they lost during COVID. And I say that as someone who has a dad and stepmom who are both docs.

It's a bar and restaurant company. You look at rental spaces crashing in cities and even Las Vegas is seeing a huge drop in attendance... It appears that people have hit their limit for spending and are done "going out". One thing with the jobs in '24... they were mostly government. Not just federal. Cities and states were piling on jobs to make Joe look good. Now they are all broke and cutting 100's or 1000's of jobs. So what looked like a bad situation for downtowns could be apocalyptic.

You'll see more as less resources are given to them and it's harder to find work. Impose a fee on money sent back to Mexico or elsewhere and you'll see more leaving.

As AI takes over I think you will see more pressure to stop spending. Many in the middle class will be losing jobs. Their spouses who had their own businesses with the extra spending money people had will also be forced to shut down. It will snowball.

If it is slow, my apologies. I am going as fast as I can speak to text. My arthritic fingers would be much slower.
