How is Truflation different from the CPI index? - SmartMoneyToolbox

Truflation is a private industry automated daily inflation calculation. The CPI inflation is the monthly calculation from the US government.

Edit: it might be a good metric to see how inflation has changed since its inception in 2021. But, i would not consider it a better metric for comparison to past inflation. You have to use the same metric (CPI) that has always been used. Ofherwise, anyone can create a new metric to support their goals. Just like a CFO.
