Against taxes but anyone dumb enough to live in a blue state deserves this. Fuck SALT write offs too. People need to own their choices including where they live.

You bring a lot of good to this board, but that's an especially dumb comment. Do you understand how Presidents get elected and how Senators and Representatives get elected? If all the conservatives nucleate to the red states and turn the rest of the states a dark, dark blue, we live in two different countries and in an arms race for creating new states out of our own ideological territories.

Your comment also ignores the fact that a LOT of the food you personally eat is grown by conservatives who live in the rural 80% of Washington State. Same thing with the HUGE number of conservatives in Oregon and California who feed you as well.

We are damn proud conservatives who fight the good fight when we choose to live in "blue" areas. We didn't ask for any SALT write-offs. We hate our state taxes and fight against them, too.

If we're not living in these areas and showing by our lives that our value systems are worth following, how on earth do you expect to convince anybody else to change their mind and give conservatism a chance?

This assumes that food can't be grown somewhere else. I'd rip every piece of economic activity out of blue states if it were up to me. No reason to support the enemy.

How many red senators does Washington and Cali put out?

Agree to disagree with me on the living in blue states but I don't peddle 'conservatism' either. America 1st.

Like I said, I appreciate a lot of the contributions you make, especially the military technology posts. I don't go on Twitter and don't know how I'd see those otherwise.

It seems that you and I view our neighbors and fellow countrymen very differently. You see enemies, whereas I see fellow Americans who see the world in ways I can't comprehend, yet they are Americans all the same. I want the very best for them, because that's what countrymen want for one another. Whether they want that for me or not is irrelevant. It doesn't negate my duty to my fellow American.

Now, corrupt politicians, those in the media who would lie and manipulate, and activists who don't fight for a true and noble cause - I've got a real problem with those people.

'American' is an ideology to me. Not a birthright.

Someone might be born a US citizen but that doesn't make them an American. Being an American is a choice. It's no different than our American forefathers generations ago who didn't see their fellow 'countrymen' as compatriots.

You're welcome to your views but reps move with population and 1980, PA, and AZ needed about 25k population boost in each state and things are totally different in the Senate and the WH. Just food for thought especially once you consider how many Senators come out of the states you mentioned.

So the 2nd and 4th are going to get overlooked by at least a few Supreme Court justices. Imagine sitting on the highest court in the US and shitting on 2 of our founding ideas in one case.

Nervous....

Gee, I wonder why that would be? Maybe showing the current VP actively supporting a bail fund for the domestic terrorists and openly supporting more riots won't be a positive for the the asshats? Huh. Imagine that as the MSM will finally be showing this to their audience because they're going to in peach fody fie once and for all!!!!

*narrator: no, they are not.

On the road for work and sitting in a damn hotel room thinking about all the shit going on and I get pissed off more and more each time I have the time to just sit and think. After reading some of the shit tonight, I’m left wondering about our vets and their families. When I read about the left wanting to make Trump supporters domestic terrorists, what do they think. We have veterans who have fought in wars not of their choosing, but of some asshole who thinks we need to be in a war, who have chose to support a president, are now being considered enemies of the country that sent them to war. Veterans who are home and suffer from any number of ailments, who have lost limbs for this country, are now being considered enemies. What about the families whose veteran didn’t make it home, or the families who lost their veteran to suicide after they came home, now being told they are the enemy of this country. The veteran who picked up a rifle and killed people because some asshole sent them to a war that they didn’t choose, might be told in the future that they can’t own a gun to defend themselves and their family. This shit has to fucking end. Who do they fucking think they are? We have to take this country back. How do we do that? I don’t know, but we have to.

I hear you and appreciate the disposition of your approach

Most of them are good intentioned, esp those that don't really pay attention to politics and just latch on the socially mandated take

In my personal experience 30-40% follow the news cycle and legitimately believe you and me are effectively evil racist fascists

Race and climate change, those are the centers of their universe. If you aren't echoing gloom, doom, blm rhetoric you must be evil

If Vice News, Vox, John Oliver, AOC tell them we belong in a re-education camp; they believe that too

I happen to think people are waking up, many aren't explicit with it due to fear of losing friends, trouble admitting they got things wrong

I actually prefer having a few of the true believers around and just letting them expose themselves so others can see their lunacy

Amen.

We're getting there and this is a big reason why. There are lots of people who don't suffer from memory loss.

My nephew is now looking at fighting the same fucking war that his parents fought. I'm legitimately scared my boy will do the same. (He wants to serve after college). While I'm so very proud of my nephew and will be of my boy... I'm sick of the endless, pointless wars that serve no purpose other than to enrich the long term players. And the LT players never leave the game. They just pass it on to their spawns and the money grab continues. (Looking at you, Liz.... you fucking blood money war mongering bitch).

Trump stopped the insanity as much as he could. But now we're back to needles death, maiming, and psychological hell all for a select group's personal gain. It's not like Joe's political history is a secret. Even sending his beloved Beau to unnecessary war didn't give him pause.. because those political points were more than worth their weight in gold.

And to make clear...I am not dismissing or blaming anybody who has fought these wars. You swore an oath and kept true to that oath. God bless every one of you. I'm angry at those who put you in that position for personal/political gain.
