A firm I worked for many years ago audited a non-profit like this. Or rather, I think they fired them before we finished the audit. The "charity" hired telemarketers to raise all the $$$. They had 2 big expenses, paying telemarketers, and paying themselves. The employees were a family, and they paid 6 and 7 figure salaries to each other for doing nothing. In the end, I think 3% of their actual revenue went towards the actual charitable purpose.
Many of these are set up exactly like this. In their organizational minutes many state they intend to only pass out 3-4% of what they collect.

The Rogan love and encouragement is sadly misplaced. We should support him from a free speech standpoint, and it should end there. We're lionizing a guy who's going to promote values and people who are the polar opposite of the movement. In any case, he's already bent the knee to spotify.

We want someone who's speaking for patriots to regale people with tales of space overlords who tell him we're just worms in the vast configuration of things? Or telling people how great of a president Obama was, we need him? Or better yet, let's consider his glowing endorsement of Bernie Sanders. If there was ever an obvious Trojan Horse, it's him.
He is experiencing The Great Awakening in real time and the average person gets to see it and go through it with him. He will soon enough see the error of giving an inch to the Mob and will take his next step towards the truth. And everyone gets to watch it.

Get what you are saying and agree. But Rogan is doing what many of us want to have happen, a large scale conversation regarding therapies, vaccine mandates, and why all roads lead to the shot.
We don't have to agree with his political views, we just agree on this topic and the questions being asked.
Remember, we are more alike than different.

I'm gonna respectfully disagree with most of that. He is being lionized because the left trying to censor him, when 1) it was his guests, not him, who were discussing the COVID issues and according to the left, spreading misinformation. 2) What values specifically is he promoting that are the polar opposite of the movement, and what exactly is the movement that you are talking about? 3) I would not say Joe Rogan is a Trojan Horse. So he liked Sanders. So what, he may have changed his mind on some of that for all we know, but that alone does not make him a trojan horse.

Not at all. But getting organized in a serious way - much more serious than semi trucks - will be impossible as long as people are waiting for superman attorney, politician, to fly in and save the day.

Re: local action saving the country, politics begins at the grass roots, etc, I hope I'm wrong, but I believe it's much too late for any of that. Not discouraging anyone from going to school board meetings, everyone should, for the immediate protection of their children. But to use a football analogy, that's something you should be doing in training camp, not in the 4th quarter of the super bowl.

And that's where I think we are. At the end of the invisible phase of this civil cold war, soon breaking into open war against those of us who hope to preserve the American way of life. The Great Reset is a near event, not 2030 and beyond. The dems exposed the ugly apparatus of their cheating machine in 2020, like never before. They did so to install an old man in the throes of dementia, they hid him almost the entire campaign, no care whatsoever for the repercussions when people realize he's out of his mind. Then they've done everything possible since the election to not endear them to 2022 voters. The only demographic that might be pleased with the Pelosi/Biden/Schumer reign are young communists, and even they aren't close to satisfied.

They've done all this knowing it will kill them with actual voters. Yet, they did it anyway. They don't intend to face the voters. This red wave that pundits keep cheering for isn't going to happen.

So I was watching a movie last night from 2014 called The Captive. It's Ryan Reynolds and his daughter is kidnapped and then subsequently groomed over the next 8 years to become bait to get more kids. Funny, near the end of the movie Reynolds' character confronts the two responsible for the kidnapping and his script is what I found to be interesting.

"The police, they're a
useless bunch of...
They're... they're the real
monsters here, the police.
They're all in this together with the
judges and the lawyers and the priests
and all those people that
we're supposed to trust.

They know where Cass is.
They're all the ones
that are hiding her."

You’ve got the Trojan Horse part right.

Who it is actually targeting is the opposite of what you think

Who bankrolled Joe from the beginning? The same guy who employed him over the past 20 years and rolls out fighter after fighter that unashamedly drops truth bombs in the name of freedom.

So what? He's 2 years removed from endorsing a communist. He's about 5 or 6 weeks removed from endorsing Bolshevik Barry and his husband for a 4th term. We're not talking about what he did in college or even 10 years ago.

All I see in post after post above is a bunch of people projecting what they want Joe Rogan to be, instead of looking into what he actually is.

What has been the net effect of the Trump & Sanders populist movement? How many of those same people, from the two different camps, have now come together?

Dana White paid Rogan to call fights because he's great at it.

The fighters drop truth bombs not because of White or Rogan, but because of the sort of people the sport attracts, fighters and fans alike. It's why Trump can go to a baseball game in DC and get booed out of the place, but he goes to an MMA fight in NYC and the place goes wild. There's 2 mma training centers on the same street as my office, and sometimes I wish I was 20 years younger so I could go train with them.

White hiring Rogan had nothing to do with free speech or anything else related to politics. He doesn't want people thinking UFC when Rogan brings on retired fighters and tries to convince them to take a dmt trip with him.

Very few. No evidence for it whatsoever. A tour of any college campus shows that. There's evidence of Trump pulling in many hispanics and a record # of blacks, but pulling in the far left is not only far-fetched, it's far from desirable. The old Lee Atwater strategy of making your tent bigger might win a few elections, but it's a short-lived strategy after the people under the tent realize they agree on almost nothing.

I know Trump loved to brag about pulling in some Sanders' supporters, but I doubt seriously that many of the pro-soviet crowd joined the maga movement. I've yet to see a preponderance of pink and blue haired, foul smelling generation Z types at a trump rally. Have you?

Come together to support Trump = none

There is common ground but those people aren't uniting with people they know are Republicans

Their brains are warped and they are mentally ill

I'm in the same generation and work with with them. It's not happening

Just as before, there is commonality on distaste for the establishment but the solutions remain diametrically opposed....they believe still believe and will always believe more centralization is the answer to corruption and inequality

It's probably 25-30% but they aren't joining us....at all
