Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

So, in personal news....
My oldest graduated with her masters in sustainability today. 4.0. Her project/paper she was freaking out about and sure would tank her? Her professor emailed her to let her know he'll be sending her his edits for discussion and approval before he publishes it. She focused on (putting it very simply) the drawbacks and negatives that nobody talks about when discussing electric cars, specifically in the trucking industry. My girl is in construction management, currently has 9 projects she's managing in Austin, Phoenix, and Vegas. AND managed to find the time and focus for her studies. That woman blows me away.
She walked today. She wasn't going to until her boyfriend (love this young man) insisted she do so. She earned it. I couldn't be there (Max has exams this week) but my parents and husband are. (Hubs was already going to be in Phoenix for business) so at least I got video and facetime.
I have other brag moments for all the other kids from the past 2 weeks (damn, so proud of these humans that used to be my Itty bitty babies) but I'm just going to let this ride with my oldest for a bit.
I couldn't be prouder of the little girl who made me a mother. My goodness...what a woman. She kinda kicks ass.
It's so amazing to get to sit back and watch your kid realize her work, dedication, drive, and sacrifices pay off...and it will keep on paying off because she knows how to buckle down and work for and earn her goals.
Ladies and gentlemen with young children (and y'all who are planning to get started soon): you are not raising children. You are/will be raising, guiding, teaching, discipling tiny humans to be productive, decent, intelligent adults. They're path is theirs. Not yours. Know how to guide them with ethics and honor. Self esteem is not the same thing as self respect (quite the contrary) Know when to reign life and kiddo in. Trust your gut. Listen to your child. Listen to your family. Step back and watch for a bit. Ignore the chatty Cathy's and arbiters of 'should do'. As long as you are not the main financial sponsor upon adulthood, you support their career path and (healthy) choices..obviously....enthusiastically and you brag non stop.

For those that think Peter McCullough is reliable and credible it might be an interesting listen.
Personally, the Chyna virus stuff and the stuff about the jabs just doesn’t peak my interest. The courts, the states, and now Congress have pretty much put to bed the only part that I gave any fucks about (the unconstitutional mandates).

The NWS out of LaCrosse, WI just shared a pic of a vehicle that had dust from Colorado and soot from the Kansas fires on it.
It got very windy here for about 5 minutes. After the storms rolled through we had 40-50 mph winds all night. Over 50 wind gusts of 75 mph or more was a record as was the 65° high temp yesterday.

That will fall on deaf ears when many in the juries have been Jabbed and are suffering and/or have relatives or friends suffering or died.
These companies are trying to stave off their complicity and liability.

Sure, its a lot of the same stuff we've heard him talk about. However, you cannot discredit the impact it is having on the masses by having him on the JRE podcast. You have to remember, our little pocket here is minimally 12 months ahead of the average American dolts. The jabs are a huge issue for many, whether it peaks much of your interest is of little consequence........pretty self righteous statement there, if I'm being honest. The china virus and the jabs are the main tools the evil shits of the world have used to try to gain power, to no real tangible avail in our country at least.
