Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

My opinion of "let's wait and see if these things work" was a pretty wild opinion among some I knew when the jabs came out.
Now people I know even refuse to believe the shots don't work after having the shot and still getting covid.
It's much easier to convince someone of a lie rather than that they were wrong.

Once someone says this to me, I realize this is the type of person not to waste any energy on with statistics and facts. The only way for these types to see what is going on is to have an adverse reaction to the jabs. (god willing that does not happen to them as I do not want to see anyone suffer)

That's what the jab was initially sold as. Msm doesn't cover covid in a truthful manner so most people don't realize.
I told my friends the areas with the highest rate of infection were the most vaccinated. It's 100 percent true, easy to find info and reported by government agencies and they flat out refuse to believe me.

Looks like the Democrats are getting far more than they ever dreamed possible, largely because of Mitch McConnell’s idiotic move of giving in on the Debt Ceiling and giving them two months to get their act together. They are destroying our Country! We have been put in a much worse negotiating position, but we have the “Trump Card,” and it’s called the Debt Ceiling. If they don’t drop this horrendous, Communistic style Bill that will be ruinous to all we stand for as a Country, we should not approve a Debt Ceiling increase. The Old Broken Crow has to be willing to play this hand, not like last time when he folded up like a cheap umbrella. Play it and mean it, because the Debt Ceiling is far less destructive than the Bill that they will otherwise successfully pass, especially when added to the “Infrastructure” Bill that was just so stupidly approved. Republicans should not have allowed the separation, McConnell should not have given a two-month reprieve, but it is what it is. Win with the Debt Ceiling, or resign!

Company just announced mandate yesterday using the gov contractor reasoning. There is a religious opt out request but you can tell it was put together by lawyers bc it’s far too intrusive.

Dude, the lawyers at my company and the union lackey lawyer were a joke. they were unprepared and basically telling us to just comply. I went straight to Liberty Council for the reasoning behind my religious refusal. They have a great example form that you can use for the basic questions of why do you oppose these shots.. Do not get into political views or stats on the vax. Just the straight dope on your 'deeply held religious beliefs'. if they get into other stuff like past vaccines or other meds just get short and to the point. I basically said I consult with God daily and he has counseled me not to take the jab. if they ask how long have you held these beliefs, I would say something like 'ever since I accepted my lord and savior, Jesus Christ, into my heart. Nothing else needed and dont give those lackeys any wiggle room. That's how i got mine and they never even asked my any follow up questions. These are your rights and don't be afraid to shove them right down their commie throats! SKOL!

Parental interference in school curricula is poised to accomplish the exact opposite. Shielding students from real-world issues and diverse perspectives will create bubbles that will render their children ill-prepared to navigate society, particularly when they are called upon to contribute and think critically.
