Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I hope you're right. Your obviously more knowledgeable on the subject. What crime did they charge him on though? Insurrection? Trespassing? Surely he has video of being let in the capitol building by federal officers.
I sure hope the NFL players are looking very closely at what is going on. They are losing any freedoms they have as employees and it is only getting worse. If the players walk out or boycott these measures, the league and its owners are fucked. They have the power.....but they will not do a thing with it.
NFL COVID-19 protocols to intensify for holiday
The NFL informed its teams of changes to the COVID-19 protocols around the Thanksgiving holiday with virus cases rising again nationwide.www.espn.com
The memo, a copy of which was obtained by ESPN, also establishes new requirements for surveillance cameras in team facilities for the purpose of enforcing COVID-19 protocols. The memo says the league has been "periodically reviewing footage from surveillance cameras in club facilities to ensure Protocol compliance. Discipline has been issued against individual players and clubs as warranted."
Effective Nov. 29, all NFL teams will be required to have video cameras installed in their weight rooms and cafeterias, including weight rooms that are outdoors or in practice bubbles. Teams must retain video from those cameras for 30 days in case the league requests to view it for the purpose of finding out whether people are following mask requirements at team facilities.

Really sorry to hear that. I have 2 Cavaliers, and the oldest (who is 6) has a heart murmur. We take him to a cardiologist every 6 mos to monitor and at this point he doesn't need heart medication, but we know he'll need it eventually. Love him to absolute pieces so I'm hoping his heart stays healthy for as long as possible.
No way this guy is guilty. I think some of the prosecution team should be sent to jail. And These jurors Need to quit being afraid of the mob and do the right thing.
Prayers for everybody that have dogs that they love that are sick. We found out our eight-year-old golden has terminal lymphoma at this point. Probably has 4-8 weeks to live

Thanks for the insight. I follow a few former Delta Force guys and they have said the same thing. While we were fighting cave people and resistance fighters. China has built up everything and been training to fight us from land, sea, air, and space. We're way behind, but china still hasn't proven anything of theirs can work. Even their cities are built like shit with buildings no older then 5 years crumbling and collapsing.
Anyone running for office who will say they will abolish or gut the FBI will probably have my vote

Nothing. We cannot let that happen. The further this goes, the more people wake up. We need to facilitate that process.
Once things get violent, we can't go back to the way things were. If our side goes violent before there is quite literally no other option, prepare for the full force of the government to come down on us and for the people who abhor violence to sanction it.
We have to win the argument. There is no other option.

I would note that the most interesting part of the Rittenhouse trial was how much video evidence gets suppressed in the current DOJ.
I would imagine a similar situation has unfurled in this instance.
I’ve had goldens for years. They have high high risk of cancer. But they are the best in my opinion dogs for families. And I have three kids. Two, nine-year-old boys and a almost 3-year-old girl.
. I had two that were given to me in 2007 as a wedding present believe it or not. And those same people , College roommate and his wife, are giving us one that was born on Sunday the day I found out my dog had terminal cancer. God works in mysterious ways. And I do know all dogs go to Heaven
