Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Don't forget about mail in voting. It would never have been allowed so widely in the previous election if not for Covid. Many states and municipalities changed or ignored voting laws to allow for 81million...
The hard part for me is explaining why I won’t take it while not educating them on why they made a risky and irreversible decision. I don’t mind telling the average Joe it’s friends and family that I struggle with.
I just tell them that I'm still relatively young and healthy, and would rather get covid and recover from it (with better antibodies), than to get the shot, not knowing what it's long term side affects will be, and then likely still end up getting covid anyways. There are also vitamins and therapeutics like zinc, vit. D, Vit. C, ivermectin, NAC, etc, which will help to keep it from getting severe.
With the number of heart attacks / myocarditis / strokes, etc, increasing all the time due to the shots, the risk doesn't seem worth it to me, but to each their own.

This "pandemic" could be a giant psyop to see how easily people will throw away their rights and conform to the governments will based off instilling fear into the public. What's happening now is elementary compared to what will happen in the next phase... I'm talking about the EPA aka(covid police force) knocking on your front door or entering your place of work for monthly check-ups, re-education courses passed down through courts and vaccination proof on your drivers licenses before you can drive on roads. This is what the current US government wants.

The media/social media complex, has been bought and paid for with Chinese cash. They don't permit serious discussion of how the virus came from chinese labs, was spread across the world by China, and certainly won't permit discussion of facts surrounding the vaccines. Then you've got a lot of people who are publicly opposed to the mandates but are still pro-vaccine. They ignore the data, because they don't want to be categorized as one of those crazy anti-vaxxers, the way people like us are portrayed.
I think a couple years down the road, many on our side will have a much different view of Trump for his pro-vaccine policy, and his refusal to fire Fauci and Birx. A few here will continue to try to claim he exposed them, but the reality is, he empowered them. Trump was the one person who could've halted all this, instead, he enabled it. They bluffed him into folding Aces.
The coming months will hopefully prove me wrong, but I believe vaccination is the cornerstone of the great reset. With the ultimate goal of bringing the US to its knees.

The easy part is explaining why you won't take it. However, If they are true friends and family, they will respect your decision and privacy just like you respect their decision to take the vaccine. That is their call, not yours. I personally do not like putting something in my body that we have no clue what it will do in the future. I question if this vaccine is so great and effective, why is congress, their families and staff all exempt from taking it? Why are pharma companies not liable for adverse reactions? What exactly are the adverse reactions to this vaccine? That is just for starters....
