Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

On a happy note, got to go back to the Dayton Flyers arena for the scrimmage tonight. Full capacity. My daughter (Dayton 21) was home and was excited to go, since last year, her senior year, no students. (she did get to go to one game, but it was weird with only 300 allowed).

late night deep thoughts or rambling
today November 2, 2021 is election day. That got me thinking about a year ago November 3 when our world changed. I was actually kind of nauseous today as I thought back about the shit that went down all across the country That night and the following days and weeks. That was probably the worst thing I’ve seen happen to this country in my 42 years
We had blatant cheating in Milwaukee in Philadelphia in Detroit in Phoenix and of course in my backyard in Atlanta. we had crooked politicians on both sides crooked judges everywhere. People paid off by companies and foreign countries. It’s still hard to believe that one of the greatest presidents in my lifetime was replaced by a potato head that shits in his pants And is nothing more than a puppet
I still cannot believe no one was arrested nothing was overturned and nobody has been hung for treason at this point.
in my home state the governor of Georgia was bought out by China and we still have not had a forensic audit. There is a push for that I think next week. I really hope Vernon Jones can challenge him and replace him. It’s going to be close. sickening what happened in Georgia! And the other states that I mentioned above!
And then in January we had Despicable evil people on both political sides trying to get rid of Trump once and for all. What a shit show that was and thank goodness they failed.
Our country went from being America first under Trump to America last under potato head and the radical left. It has been hard to watch the destruction of America since those bastards took over. it makes me fear for my three children growing up in this country. Hopefully it is not too late to undo all of the damage that has been done in the past year
In good news I think Herschel Walker will take the Senate seat in a blowout in a year. I think the Republicans, which is the lesser of the two evils, will retake the House and the Senate. And I do believe lessons were learned by patriots and I hope that these lessons will be able to stop the blatant election fraud
I think the next elected American president will either be Donald Trump or Ron DeSantos.
I also believe there are more patriots in this country than swamp rats and traitors . I hope we can take back our country and make America great again. Sorry for the long rant. But this election day coming when the sun comes up made me really reflect back to a year ago and how much better the world and America was at that time.
I’ve been off the board a lot the past month. My family had Covid. it was not that bad but it just kept lingering and then other things like strep throat came in our household etc.
I plan on being back on much more

No lie, strep almost killed me. Went from strep to rheumatic fever. Had scarlet fever 2X, As easy as it is to treat for most (those who don't suffer from recurrent Strep) it's not something to dismiss as a minor illness.
Don't know. I'm not a MD. Is it really Strep throat? Are you allergic to any drugs? What have you taken before for Strep? What antibiotics have you taken before? Does the antibiotic work on Strep? Lots of things only you can answer.
The ones I've taken are of the same chemical compound that I've taken before for similar issues.
