My kids are 4th generation students/alum. My mother in law (and I adore this lady. Everybody does. She's one of the greatest people I've been blessed to know and love. And she's cute as a bug and hilarious) taught for 32 years at the same school she attended as a little girl. We (family) sponsor 3 scholarships and my MIL grants the love for teaching award. (This award and honor goes to the teacher that is nominated and voted on by a the LFT board. The nomination letters are so inspiring. Students, parents, faculty... anybody can nominate a teacher. It's a hard decision every year.)

That's the thing.... everybody that knows me has this idea I just say anything at any given time. I actually don't (at least for me) I bite my tongue. A LOT. So when I do decide to say something, I really frigging mean it and I'm not holding back... and I do not tolerate or entertain bullshit and lies. Once I've had enough (bullshit/bourbon/wine), may God have mercy on your soul because I sure as hell will not.

(Hence why I have the reputation of not being afraid of speaking up. I'm clearly not. But if only so many that don't know me very well knew of how many times I've held back...)

Also email the board and the supt. Have people overload their inboxes and go speak at public comments (rotate different speakers through). Most of them are terrified of the public and they usually only hear from leftists and thats a big reason why give in to them. Make sure you let the good ones know you support them.

Funny story, I've been leading the fight against masks but there's two miserable moms that want to make everyone as miserable as they are. Anywhoo, I got two yuge emails from them sent to the whole board calling all my info/studies "misinformation". It took them hours to write those and I didn't even read them. They're trying to bully me and the rest of the board; fuck 'em.

My truck driver neighbor is anal about yard work. He mows, edges, etc., 2-3 times a week. He even mows the street to chop up leaves and stuff. Since moving in, if he sees a lawn which hasn't been mowed in what he feels is enough time, he takes his mower and mows their yards. One person told him to stay off his lawn.

He called yesterday wanting to know if I was OK (recovering from surgery) since I hadn't mowed and edged in 1-2 weeks (the grass hasn't grown much with little rain and watering). I am fine but haven't felt the need to mow or edge. I will today or tomorrow.

Anyway, he's out again today and just edged my lawn and blew off all the sidewalks. I don't care other than I like doing my own yard work but am not nearly as anal as he is.
