Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I looked at a couple of the PDFs, but have not done any of the ZIP files. Not sure if there is stuff in there I do not want on my computer or phone, or hidden in the file. That being said, there are some things with interesting titles.
It looks to be 76 files posted by the Mcafee (LARP?) account so far today. Some are Clinton Tax returns, others are Republican candidate analyses, and a whole range of random stuff. Whether there is substance to any of this or not, someone is putting a lot of work in to make it appear important.

Likely whoever owns the domain name, and set it up to redirect to the whitehouse.gov website, is not affiliated at all with Antifa or the Biden Whitehouse and left it that way because they want it to as the likely find it accurate/funny.

CO recently had this on the ballot and it passed. So disappointed. I know the Constitution says that state legislatures are responsible for determining how to appoint their Electoral College electors, but this entire initiative seems to be a blatant end-around the amendment process for the Constitution. I think the SCOTUS is slated to review this, and I hope these initiatives are shut down by SCOTUS. We'll see.

In 2016, President Donald Trump won the majority of electoral votes even though Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
Then again, the first time a candidate like Trump wins the popular vote and all of these liberal states have to assign their electors to him, that might be the end of these initiatives.
I agree with you. I don't see what the big deal is with a stage for an event like this. I bet this room is used quite a bit by every President. It makes sense to have some kind of studio like this, with ideal lighting, sound, and broadcast capabilities all built in and ready to use.

Noem seemed to have a bright future, but I think she is proving to be someone else than she portrayed herself to be. The recent story about how she used her influence to get her daughter licensed as a real estate appraiser is an example. Either you believe in the rule of law and seek to eliminate corruption, or you don't. She might be a conservative on a lot of issues, but I'm starting to sense there she has some questionable honesty. Bears leaving soldier field?
Probably just a threat, but I would love to see the bears call the cities bluff.
Soldier field is in an awesome location and a terrible location all at once. Its awesome because its close to the city, close to the lake, and in a location central to many Chicagoans. On the downside, its a total pain in the ass to get to. The traffic flow is terrible and the public transportation is non existent.
Still think the Bears need to be at Soldier Field but it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Would be a big loss for the city imo.

So I will say the part that most won't say out loud. KN has power and she is good looking. The power makes her better looking, but doesn't make her smart. Old white men don't care if she is smart cause she is pretty. She works around old fat white men who think she is hot and want to fuck her. They think they have a chance so they will do anything for her, to the extent of telling people she is smart. CL is not a bad looking dude and has something she wants....MORE POWER. I’m employed so I block all fed withholding on my w-4 and I invest it during the year. Why would I let the gov have that when it’s not due til April 15th the following year? Fuck them, especially if you make a lot of money.
When my cpa does my taxes, he tells me cut X amount to the IRS and I do. I’ve never incurred a penalty doing that. My hope is that one day millions of people will die the same and we simply not send in tax filings in an attempt to boycott.

The NBA announced on Wednesday that it will withhold pay for unvaccinated players who miss games this season.
Fair enough, curious though. Since my w-2 doesn’t break down which quarters are my largest earning, how could they assess what should have been paid in. At least I don’t think the w2 breaks that down. Perhaps I’m wrong.
For instance, my 3rd and 4th quarter are usually much higher in pay then q1 and 2. So my tax liability would be much higher in those qtrs especially if it’s moving into other tax brackets. Does that make sense?
