Anyone else here doing any competitive shooting? Precision, long range rifle, sporting clays, NRA pistol, practical, etc?

I've been competing in IDPA (practical shooting) for a few years now. I also shoot USPSA matches, though not a member (yet).

I'm not very good with the long range or precision shooting, but have much respect for those who are.

If you're someone who carries a gun outside the home like I do, I highly recommend trying out IDPA or USPSA. It's amazing how much you can learn in those competitions.

What about you? Do you compete in any shooting sports? Any questions for me?

I've read about that. Single action only revolvers and lever action rifles. Pictures I've see the competitors dress the part too. Now THAT is America!
Yep they would all dress up like cowboys. Bunch of old dudes that gave zero fucks.

They basically had their own skeet range out in the country too

I do not and have not ever shot competitively but do love going to the woods and ringing steel with my friends and my many handguns.
