Would he? For the right situation, sure. I don't think he is for this case. He will 100% leverage the rumors into getting a higher contract for himself, which I fully support. The two names our beat writer keeps mentioning are Jimbo Fisher and Mel Tucker, and he's pretty solid on sources in coaching searches. LK is definitely on the list, but for various reasons it just doesn't feel like he's jumping at this particular opportunity.
