What a joke. Most of the authors of that study are chinese, the main one a hydrologist at the "Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences".

The study is almost entirely based on computer models, and claims the ice melting has caused the earth to shift on its axis as much as 3 thousands of a second of a degree.

USA today peddling chinese propaganda, what a surprise.
 
This might be worse than when they said earthquakes were getting more frequent because of climate change. I couldn't even speak coherent words when that was said on a panel with 4 scientist and not one even did a "well.... we don't know for sure it causes earthquakes"... they just all shook their heads in agreement.
