Hasn't China been working with countries on the African continent and making agreements about mining minerals and such? If so, one could deduce that they are building more than mining camps there. They are IMO just expanding their reach across the world, slowly but surely.

Yeah for about 20 years... they also own just about every major airport in Africa too
