• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Probably @fschmidt

He’s the Jewiest person on the board

As far as the name I think it’s kind of a “the artist formerly known as @rebarcock” thing
I am racially jewish, but not religiously or culturally. My name is real, my family was assimilated, father's father from Germany. And of course I would gladly screw modern scum out of money. I mean why not?

Sending a DM. Too much going on here to get the thread off topic lol

As a future heart attack victim myself, I hope you're doing better and take care of yourself to avoid future problems. Have you done any kind of tests or anything to see how vulnerable you are to any future problems? I recently did some type of CT or MRI scan thing that focuses the images on blood vessels and arteries to see if there is any type of build up or issues that increase my risk in the short term, I don't know all the science terms but it was pretty cool and didn't take long. I've been trying to get in to see some specialist that is one of the top in the country in Preventative heart care stuff, they made me do the scan and some other tests before they would schedule me in for later this fall. I passed the scan with flying colors but failed miserably on everything else even though im in my mid 30's. Basically my heart is a ticking time bomb
