I can't experiment that much here at work because we have filters and shit in place, but I will be looking at dVPN's when I get home.

Decentralized VPN's don't use centralized servers and don't have fixed exit nodes. It looks like most of them use blockchain I think it must be for encryption? Some let you sell your bandwidth if you want to become an exit node.

Examples are KelVPN, Mysterium Network, Boring Protocol, Deeper Network, and Orchid.

I can't wait to try a few of these out. Will they let you change your IP? How many IP's are possible? It should be basically limitless with a dVPN. Banning people would become useless. That's one problem I had with a certain forum (not this one) they banned all the exit nodes of every VPN I tried. They banned all the Tor exit nodes. I actually posted about this on the Tor Project subreddit their VPN is structurally useless. The whole goal of Tor was to let people in tyrannical countries bypass their oppressive governments and use the Internet. However those governments only need to ban the Tor exit nodes and all their oppressed boot-licking peasants stay brutally oppressed. What do they do now?

Fun fun fun.

I looked at KelVPN and it doesn't look decentralized. First thing it asks you is to pick a server, and it has servers in Russia, Netherlands, USA, Europe, etc. The next thing it asks you is to purchase a license.

I'm looking at Mysterium Network now. Their website claims it has over 13,000 nodes.

Mysterium VPN works! 12779 exit nodes to choose from.

There are thousands of USA nodes and each one changed my external IP address. I checked.

You do have to pay but it's pay as you go and they accept Paypal. I paid $2.49 up front and it's a tiny amount based on your traffic. It's not much at all if you post on forums.

Muahahahahaha

If you like VPN's make sure to voice your opposition to this bill:

Just the latest example of the gov treating the People as though we are the enemy. Been doing so for the past 90 years, ever since the trading with the enemies act was amended to include us within the definition of the enemy.

No one alive today is old enough to remember a time when it wasn't like that, and most today just accept it as normal due to not knowing any better.

This is what the government want to lock people up for. I was wondering why they were worried about vpn's since they can bypass them easily.

You could probably find the information you’re looking for over in the NSFW forum where all the skeezy perverts hangout.
You’re welcome
