They filmed part of it just down the road from me... At a bridge... In Deer Creek Oklahoma. The cops had the road blocked off all day. I asked them what the movie was and they said Warner... Then I had to wonder if he ever lived in OK. As far as I know, he didn't.

Pretty sure he didn't. Born and raised around cedar rapids, Iowa. College at fcs UNI about 45 mins from where he grew up. Iowa barnstormers (arena league) legend.
