30A Florida Recs (Destin area)

Taking our family of 4 + 2 more teens to 30A this summer, specifically end of June.

Looking for recs as far as places to eat, areas to check out, also what the situation is like at Crab Island during the week.

If you have any recs for charters out to Crab Island I'm all ears. We would be looking to go probably mid week, not sure if we would want to do the morning or afternoon? I read somewhere that high tide is when the water is clearest but not sure if any of the vendors or other boats would be out during the week that early so might take away from the experience?

Put in the tittle "Florida help" may get a couple people come by and help. I never heard of 30A. But I suppose people that can help have heard about it.

redbar in grayton is a nice one to say youve been, that place burned down few yrs back and built it back up

old florida fish house has great seafood
amici eyetalian kitchen in rosemary is one of my favorites, my daughters best friends family owns it
i also love the donut hole, we usually just get desert but theyve got good food

tbh anything around you is gonna be legit, i wouldnt want to be in santa rosa beach and go drive for supper to rosemary beach, everything around where your gonna be at will be good

if youve never been to crab island youll have to check it out, need a boat though, im sure you can rent a charter but ive never done that, we had our own boat

be ready for the traffic, dont succumb to roadrage cause theres gonna be a few people there
