Meh DC was probably the best action star to play the role but he lacked the charisma Bond had, I put him 3rd at best behind Connery and Moore.
Looks decent, but hard to tell about Bond movies from the previews. I will check it out when it streams somewhere.
Maybe one of the best 007 cars, looks like. Will miss Craig, agree the second best Bond. You could argue he is better than Connery, but I'd never make that argument.

DC made the role his own. Just like Connery and Moore. The producers were smart enough to use his physicality to create some great stunt work(possibly the best in all Bond films) to mold around his persona.
Pierce Brosnan never had a chance with all the terrible CGI of the time. Just made for incredibly campy movies.

When I first saw him, I remember wondering how a short looking Russian looking dude would be a good Bond. While I did not enjoy all the movies, he did an admirable job.
It’s 1a and 1b between Sean and DC. Moore isn’t even in the running.
It’s like the people that attempt to prove that Manning is as good as Brady. Sorry. Back out.
BTW. You’re an idiot if you think Moore is even top 7.
The only reason I include Moore is that he's in a couple of my top favorites in Live and Let Die and Man with the Golden Gun. Some good stunt scenes there as well.
Also, one of the more overlooked movies, For Your Eyes Only.
Can’t argue there. Great storylines with what could’ve been amazing. Look at Peeeeerssee Brosnen. Goldeneye was amazing and let to the GOAT video game, and I’m not a gamer.

Yeah, they peaked with GE. Too bad cause I think PB could have been a better Bond with better writers and support.

Moore was a great bond, he just needed to retire after for your eyes only. Even though I actually enjoyed Octopussy it was really campy but I like campy movies.
If you like campy, then Roger Moore is your guy.

Theis sarcasm. Bond movies have been semi-awful for a while. You can only one-up action scenes so many times.
Have to agree with this, for the most part. One reason the first 2 Bond movies are my favorites is because the action scenes hadn't gotten so ridiculously over the top yet...they were a bit campy in other ways, but that is a whole other subject.
Casino Royale and Skyfall were the tits. This blew a dick. Top Gun 2 shits all over this mess of a movie.
Casino Royale was great, I agree. Only saw Skyfall once and it blends in with all the others in my mind...need to rewatch that one.
Edit to add, just watched Skyfall trailer to refresh my memory. Yeah, that was a pretty good one.

I own all of the Bond films and am a massive fan… this woke director and the woke owners of the franchise have me less than excited and I’ll probably wait for it to hit Amazon.
I am also a big Bond fan. Connery and Moore were clearly the best. I enjoy the older Bond movies more than the newer. There are just better modern spy movies than the Bond movies. The midget playing Bond now is okay, except the Quantum crap of a movie. Casino Royal was great IMO.
