Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I miss him so much.
He used to be fire on O&A, back when I listened. I think Elephant In the Room is up there with Killing Them Softly, Delirious & Raw and maybe a couple others as the greatest standup sets of all time.
Used to listen as well. Norton still good, but Sam is awful. Patrice would kill it every time on the show. All the comedian's would defer to him if their shit was funny, and he would tell them if it was our wasn't.
I feel like he just spoke absolute truth. He did it in his hilarious way, but just facts. A good example is one of my favorite jokes, about why safe sex is a woman's responsibility. Also love how he fucks with the audience.

My wife owns a business, makes good money and asks me how I'm doing less than zero times a year. I don't mind any of that but I've learned over the years (20 of them) to not take any shit from her whatsoever. I used to apologize a lot and come back with sweetness. Dropped that act long ago and, oddly enough, we get along much better this way.
Sent it to my wife, she read one line and took offense. She’s a great woman and contributes. But man is she mad at this article.
