This. No matter how ‘fast’ your router is, you’ll only get the speed your ISP allows, and even then it’s never as fast as advertised. It’s always less, and how much less depends on a number of factors.

1gb wired. 400mb wireless is the expected max

Sounds like your router works fine for now. Yeah you could get higher speeds with a better router, but not sure it’s even worth it, tbh.

I have an 8mb dsl and my porn plays just fine... But my wifi connects at about 700mbps and it's not wifi6
