There are many ways of getting rid of the issue. The killing part is easy, but where do you find them? If you want to poison them, you have to know where to put the stuff.........all the entrances to the tunnels
anyway, they will die with carbon monoxide just like any other mammal.
Start with a known hole they have made, one perhaps you are recently seen them frequent. Bring an electric Shop Vac, that you can also use as a blower. Inside the canisster on the bottom, put a few brick sto hold the smoke bomb...and protect the plactic canister of the shop vac.......light smoke bomb, and insert hose into the hole, turn on blower. This will do two things
1.) It will show you where all the holes that the moles have made, as they are likely connected.
2.) suffocate or drive them out of the holes.
this bomb should do it, or similar. you need industrial smoke, not some bullshit smoke bomb from the firework store=fuck ton of smoke. Get a couple.
When you see smoke coming out of the other holes, put a net or something that will catch the moles or restrist them from leaving, then do what you will.
Water might work also, and would be effective, if the ground does not soak up the water, you would need a pump and a large water tank to flush them out or drown them.
If you have several or at least tewo shop vacs, you could suck on one hole while you blow on the other, and suck them out of the holes. 10 psi of vacuum is a powerful thing

My cats love moles. They torture them to death by playing with them as if they were toys. I have a house that was being attacked by squirrels. There were moles galore. I turned two cats loose in the back yard, gave them a place to live in a utility room with access in and out. A couple of weeks later the moles and squirrels were gone.
