Not the most exciting game I’ve been to but the Battle at Bristol experience was awesome...NASCAR meets CFB. Lee Greenwood singing God Bless the USA before the game, then my Vols beating Va Tech in the biggest football game ever...and I passed out on top of a school bus in one of the campgrounds after the game
Mine is game 6 of 1982 World Series. Major rain delay. Hernandez rocketing a shot to the right field deck of Busch 2.
edit: not sure why Hernandez never went to hof, but he should be a cardinal and not a met.
You play lacrosse? How do you know Jack Emmer?
I played, but he coached my college coach at West Point and I wound up playing on a team at Placid with his son. I've heard more Jack Emmer stories than I can count.
That’s great. You played for Pressler at Duke or Bryant or someone else?
My wife used to babysit your friend when his dad was coaching at W&L- they were neighbors and my father in law taught there.
ETA- actually it was his sister that she was babysitting. He wasn’t born til they moved to WP

I’m jealous of that. I lift weights with a few of those guys in Orlando. PAC got me ringside seats for one other events. It was a damn blast.
