I’m pretty sure they penalized bama at enough. Was there a blown call that went missed outside of the first down review that was a joke? The officiating was terrible. Whatever took place in the end zone from start to finish on that sack was mid bottling. From the initial calll the then the refs taking away both and saying the ref misheard the other. Strange to say the least

That was the refs as usual….figuring out a way to help Bama. Literally took 2 points off the board. I have never seen them allow a qb to continued play when being pulled down backwards, then he flips the ball and it rolls out of the end zone……WHICH IS A SAFETY. Making up a BS call to force a punt vs said safety is BULLSHIT.
I hadn’t even though of the Big 12 red deal as the REC pays all refs. That’s interesting, especially with Sober Sark coaching……guess Tejas may still get to fire him.

Spencer Tillman was on the radio telling a story:
It was during the OU-TX game, with ou on the goal line at the end of the game trying to win. They gave Spencer the ball and he was called short of the TD. Afterwards, it really bothered him to the point that he had to say something to the refs(only time in his career he did this). So he approaches the ref and let's him know that he really thought he got the ball over the plane of the endzone.
The ref says, " Son, you were about this close".
