This death, wasn’t the noble ending these soldiers deserved, but maybe will help wake some sheep up.

I participated in quite a few transfer ceremonies at Al Udeid. Watching Airmen, Soldiers, and Marines lose it inside the C17 as they paid their respects to our fallen comrades.
There is nothing compared to a flag draped coffin of a warrior. As a commander it haunts you with the question of “what if’s”.
My hearts goes out to the families of the fallen as their world has rapidly changed for the worse and will need our prayers to get them through this awful, destructive time.
