Without a doubt he did the right thing. He was probably happy as the garbage man, tore it up for 8 years, and is happy again now.

I prolly would put 10M in ABBV for about 500k/ yr in dividends then went buck wild with the rest.

I knew a guy that did similar. He inherited several million and decided he wanted to go to NYC and party his ass off with hot models and shit. He was back home in 2 years absolutely broke and nothing to his name. but he's got some pretty cool stories. 80's in NY seemed really wild.
He spent on his heart's desires. Fxcked all the damn beauties he could get and yes, that was what his heart desired for. So its money well spent in his perspective
