Was Hitler correct in the extermination of the "Jews"

I understand this to be a provative question. Allow me to define it a bit better......

If it is understood that the Jews of today are not the Jews in the bible (which is true), and the bible states...

This is a real think tank kind of question, so my answer is just Cliff Notes. Bear with me.

Hitler was Catholic and yet he despised the teachings and the trimmings of Catholicism. He saw himself as a tool for doing the will of God. The Catholic church never excommunicated the Nazis during WWII so this could become an in depth conversation really fast.

Years ago I read the books White Power by George Lincoln Rockwell and also the book This Time the World (also by Rockwell.) Rockwell was a former U.S, Navy Commander who founded the American Nazi Party. IIRC, in Rockwell's books he (Rockwell) believed the Jews to be the Semites of the Bible IIRC. Based on that either Hitler did not know the identity of the modern day "Jew" OR Rockwell had never delved into the religious ideology of Hitler.

I can't tell you if it's accurate, but when I was very young there was a former Nazi sympathizer who told me he witnessed to George Lincoln Rockwell only months before Rockwell was assassinated and he told him about the biblical identity of the Jews. If what he said were true, then maybe Hitler didn't let a lot of people know what he thought relative to the discussion.

Answer to original question: no. And here's why: Jews are people made in the image of God, the same as anyone else. They deserve respect the same as anyone else. Moreover, even a cursory reading of Romans, esp. Ch. 3, puts the nails in the coffin lid of antisemitism. I don't see how any true Christian who believes the Bible is true can possibly come to an antisemitism position. The exegetical torture (i.e., eisegesis) required is extensive, to say the least.

I never claimed the Jews are God's currently chosen people (that's the invisible church), I never said Christians are against anyone; I totally agree with you that there's only one way to heaven and that's Jesus. All I'm saying is that if, after reading Romans 3, someone comes to the conclusion that Christians are somehow opposed to Jews, I think that's wrong.
