I feel comfortable about china just running shit to south America. We won't have any negatives going forward from China just dominating South America with no push back from us.

That’s a terrifying photo. You have any idea how much debt China has taken to be able to achieve that result? Their debt to gdp ratio is 335%. It would be equivalent to the US owing $90 trillion. If we owed that much money, we still have a large consumer base of the economy, which is effectively your tax base, and it drives our economy.

China is predominantly government and investment. But their investment is driven by their government sector since they own the businesses. About 60% to 70% of their economy is the government. The remaining 40% is supposed to foot the bill, which is impossible thus forcing their government to borrow more to keep growing and fly into a debt spiral.

That’s why China has these empty ghost cities, vast amounts of subsidized crap goods, and they’ve flooded the worlds trade. They have to keep borrowing, and then keep spending, all to keep growing. It keeps the Chinese people from overthrowing the CCP, but it also depresses the consumer base which is the self sustaining force in any economy.

I think it’s almost better to go full socialist and insular for the CCP’s self preservation, than it is to pretend this half communism half capitalism is something that’s achievable. Really, we’re only 25 real years into this experiment and shit looks unstable.

Experiment? This is not an accident, this has been the desired outcome.

The incumbent power structure in our political class has been handsomely rewarded for these policy positions.

Why do you think they can get caught having Chinese spies in their employment, or outright fucking Chinese spies and nothing happens?
