UFOs

Anybody have a UFO experience? I am kind of a nerd about space & shit...always looking at the night sky for whatever may be up there. Have seen all the normal stuff like stars, planets, meteors, and satellites. Even saw a huge meteor go across the entire sky, horizon to horizon, one time...but saw something last week that I have no explaination for.

It was just before sunrise, but starting to get light. I was taking the dog out, looking up as I often do. Well, the sky was just getting light, and I could only see the brightest stars by then. Straight up above me, I saw a light that I thought must have been Venus, as bright as is was. It did not look quite like Venus though, seemed a bit larger and a little less bright, but I knew there was nothing else in the sky it could be. No other planet or star looks anywhere near that big. I looked at it for a 4 or 5 minutes & took a few pics before it was covered by clouds. I chalked it up to being Venus, but it must have just looked odd to me to see it right as the sky was getting light.

Well, the next day I was up at the same time, so went out to look at Venus and see if it still looked strange to me...it was nowhere to be found. Nothing in the sky above me, except some tiny stars. Looked on Sky Map, and Venus was not even above the horizon at that time! So wtf did I see? I have no idea, and am not saying it was aliens or something...but I know for sure it was not a star, a planet, a satellite or space station, a plane, was not the sun or moon obviously...I'm stumped, but it sure was cool to see. Wife's uncle paid over 50k for a telescope he uses that's like 10+ft tall. He only shoots on certain nights cuz of light saturation and shit and he and his dad were both heavy DARPA.

Wife's grandpa has a 500 page memoir about his work at on "the gadget", his flights during the war, and his test flights after that we're forbidden from sharing with anyone including even my family.

Crazy stuff is all I can say even though I have no personal experience.

Sighting #1 - Indeed I have. Witnessed 4 lights in sky over nearby military base. They were moving straight up and straight down as well as moving laterally left and right. There appeared to be approximately 7 miles away and based on that, their strange movements were very rapid. No helicopter or airplane could come close to duplicating what we saw.

Sighting #2 - I walked into our woodlands garden just after dark to turn off the sprinkler system. I noticed one of our small ornamental trees to the left had something glowing in it. As I got closer I saw a glowing orb about the size of a ping-pong ball. It's glow was diffused somewhat so there was not a hard outline of a small orb. I watched as I slowly moved in between the leaves and branches about 4 feet off the ground. I noticed that the orb's energy glow was casting light onto the surrounding leaves. After about 2 minutes I leaned in closer and the orb moved straight up through the top of the tree (about 5 feet) and then rocketed up the side of mountain we live on. It was out out of sight in less that two seconds. And yes, I was sober and not doing any drugs.

A good friend of mine & his mom saw a light in a field in the middle of nowhere, SC moving like that. Going up & down and left & right. He said it was so fast, and the speed was instant- like a ping pong ball being shaken up in a glass jar. You hear alot of sightings describe movement of UFOs in that way.

Last night I was in the hot tub and looking up at the stars. There were two pretty bright stars not too far apart in the sky. As I was looking a 3rd really bright light appeared, and then flashed and was gone. I'm assuming it was a meteorite, but I've never seen one that was apparently coming straight at me, because there was no streak in the sky behind it. Just a super bright light that went out.

2 instances.

Years ago a friend of mine & I were riding dirt roads drinking beer just before sunset. About 50 yards or so through the pines we see a yellowish/orange "globe" moving slowly through the woods, we keep on driving slowly watching this thing as it continues moving forward and upwards. We watch this for about 5 minutes until it clears the trees and then is several hundred feet up and it suddenly just takes off at one hell of a pace. Have no idea what it was, but it was as real as it gets and freaked us out for quite sometime.

About 8 years ago myself and two friends were on the north tip of Treasure Cay, Bahamas at night just kinda star watching & smoking a little herb after a long day on the water. I see a light coming across the sky towards us. I point it out saying that it was either a satellite or the space station as I'd seen both come across the skies as it orbited. We watch this thing as it orbits above like a normal sighting of a satellite or the space station, and then when it got to about 12 oclock above us it fvcking stops cold and just sits there kinda blinking and then it just disappears. I dunno what it was, but an orbiting object doesn't just stop like that.

We have seen the same thing, watching meteor showers. Just looks like a camera flash way up in the atmosphere. We also assumed it was a meteor coming pretty much straight at us.

Yes. Short version - saw a green light move silently from the horizon to over the beach. Clouds spread around this thing and it floated there for a second or two, then zipped back out over the horizon. All completely silent.

One time back in the early 90’s I was standing outside in front of my house and happened to look up to the sky. Noticed something very high up that appeared to be spherical in shape turning end over end and shooting straight up. It was moving so fast that I only had a glimpse of it for a second or so before it disappeared behind some clouds. Plus it was so high up that it was hard to be certain of the exact shape and color of it.

Check out Chuck Missler's take on UFO's. Before you scoff, look at his background. He was very involved with the military. One of his close friends said that wherever he flew commercially, the plane had a military fighter escort.

I have written on here about seeing a blue beam. Shriek across the sky by fort Jackson in Cola. About 230 am me and a couple buddies we in Mr Stuckey's corn field and the beam crossed the sky for about 20 seconds.
About 14 then

At 23 me and a buddy were having a beer on the beach in surfside after work. About 1 am.
Looking at the sky some object was crossing then turned and shot 90 degree left and was gone in a second.
That is all i have
