Read this today and had to cringe.
During this week's broadcast of FNC's "Sunday Morning Futures," Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) recounted a conversation he had with former President Donald Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, about Sunday's rally at New York City's Madison Square Garden. | Clips

Clinton beat Trump in NY 59% to 36% and that was his home state. NY has one of the largest cities in the world in NYC, along with several other cities Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Yonkers. There are actually 62 different cities in NY, and all of them vote blue.
Rural areas generally vote red, but rural NY doesn't stand a chance. NY is just too urban and won't ever be anything other than a blue stronghold.
Trump should be focusing on swing states, not wasting time and effort campaigning in blue strongholds.
Back in the 2016 election I did foolishly believe Trump might win his home state, but when the numbers came in and I dug into it, I realized there was no way. You would have to change the votes of the liberal zombie horde that lives in NYC and they are all rabid left-wing extremists.
