Mpigi, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | A bus belonging to Gateway bus company has burst up flames in Mpigi district.

A statement from traffic police shows that the incident happened at around midday at the Kampiringisa police checkpoint in Kamengo sub-county, along the Kampala-Masaka highway.

An incident report from the traffic police says that the Gateway bus registration number UAU 926U, was destined for Kabale from Kampala when it caught fire.
